Laborie partners with several foundations and not-for-profit organizations to provide humanitarian relief to underserved populations around the world. Through these partnerships, we have contributed urodynamics equipment and consumables to help support research, training, education and — most importantly — improve the health and wellness of thousands of people worldwide.
Laborie has shipped vast amounts of equipment, catheters and supplies to countries such as Uganda, Niger and Ghana. These supplies supported volunteer physicians such as Dr. Susan Kalota and Dr. Rene Genadry with IVUmed and FIUGA’s efforts to increase access to quality urological care and training.
Through these organizations, Laborie was able to support the Urodynamics Training Program at the Korle Bu Medical Center in Accra. The donated supplies were also used at a urodynamics training center in Ghana, benefiting thousands of women throughout the region and provided gynecological and urogynecological evaluations and procedures for two weeks in Niger. The mission of the training was to help establish a regular curriculum for training and education in the future.
We are committed to supporting causes that matter to our clients, our employees and our communities.
